Most Naperville carpet cleaners use a chemical/detergent through their machine that can leave a residue that quickly causes resoiling.

Using this pure water rinse will assure your family won't be lying around in soapy leftovers.

This is the only way to truely leave a carpet residue free.

Does Cleaner Image use safe cleaning products?

Absolutely, I plan on being in this business for quite some time and I would never expose your family to any harsh cleaning agents that I, myself wouldn't want to be exposed to on a daily basis.

I only use safe, proven cleaning agents on your carpets that have been approved by the Carpet And Rug Institute.

Is Cleaner Image Carpet Care approved by the Carpet And Rug Institute?   Yes, in fact we are only one of a few companies in the state that adhere to that requirement.

Back in 2008, the carpet manufactures required that all carpeting be cleaned by a CRI approved service provider in order to maintain their warranties. Cleaner Image is proud to meet the CRI's requirements.

How does the Carpet and Rug Institute rate cleaning products?

  • Overall cleaning effectiveness — This ensures that the product removes soil and spots better than plain water.

  • Rate of resoiling — This ensures that the product does NOT attract dirt to the cleaned areas faster than the rest of the carpet.

  • pH — A more neutral pH ensures that carpet dyes and fibers are not adversely affected.

  • Surface texture change — The product must leave the carpet pile minimally changed after repeated cleanings.

  • Optical brighteners — None is allowed, as optical brighteners can leave some patches of carpet lighter than the rest and also can add a yellow cast to lighter colored carpets over time.

  • Colorfastness — Products must not be so aggressive that they cause a color change in the carpet.

Here's What Is Included in Our Carpet Cleaning System

Step 1. Pre-Inspection

At this time, we will do a walk through of your home with you, taking note of your areas of concern. I will tell you which spots you can expect to come out and which ones may be permanent.

Step 2. Furniture Moving

We will move a couple pieces for you at no charge. Large items such as: beds, dressers, and televisions will not be moved. Please have these items moved prior to our arrival if you would like them cleaned under. In general, large pieces that have never been moved aren't subjected to regular foot traffic, a simple vacuuming would do just fine.

Step 3. Set Up For Your Home's Safety

Once we have your approval to get started, we'll place moving blankets to protect your hard surface flooring from any equipment we bring into your home. At this time, corner guards will be placed to protect your walls from any of the hoses we use during the cleaning process.

Your traffic lanes are pre-treated to break down greases and oilsStep 4. Pre-Spray Application

We will apply a pre-spray solution to all areas of your carpeting that are going to be cleaned. This solution loosens the soils away from the fibers, allowing them to be flushed away. This safe solution takes care of nearly all of the soiling and spots on your carpet. Any remaining spots will be treated once this step is complete.

Step 5. Agitation of the Carpet Fibres

Depending on the soil level of your home, we may use a carpet groomer or rotary machine to help further loosen the soil from your carpets.

Step 6. Rinse and Extract With Purified Water

Once the pre-treatment is allowed proper dwell time, your carpet is rinsed with deionized water. This water is so pure, it has no minerals left in the water, leaving your carpets softer than ever before. This is very important, as we never use any detergents through our machine that will cause rapid resoiling.

Step 7. Post Spot Treatment

Any remaining spots will be treated again after the cleaningAny spots that didn't come out during our normal cleaning procedure will be taken care of at this time. Most of these spots will be from an artificial dye such as Kool-Aid. There is a small additional charge for removing these spots. Please note that they are sometimes permanent.
